Prevent modifications of active discounts

To maintain pricing consistency and avoid unexpected changes, discounts that are already in use by active orders can now only be partially edited.

What has changed?

• Editing restrictions: After a discount has been applied to any active order, it can no longer be modified except for a few specific fields.
• Allowed edits:
  • **Description—**This can be updated at any time.
  • **Expiration Date—**This can be extended (that is, set to a future date beyond the current expiration) but cannot be shortened.

Definition of active orders

• For the purpose of discount restrictions, active orders include:
  • Orders in a suspended state
  • Orders in a pending provisioning state
• Orders in the following states are excluded:
  • Failed
  • Deleted
  • Finished

Who is affected?

Marketplace Managers (MMs) will now have limited ability to edit discounts once they are used.

These changes help ensure discounts remain stable and predictable once they are in customer-facing use.
